Quebec

Arriving in Quebec was lovely, but it did really hammer home that heading west means we are on the home stretch. Well, four weeks of home stretch :-) Spent some time in both Quebec (City) and Montreal, and our French got a good workout! Only once ended up with completely the wrong thing when I didn't want to admit that I didn't understand the question, so just responded with "Oui" and realised the response most definitely should have been "Non"!

Parliament House, Quebec
Vieux (Old) Quebec - it really did feel like we were in Europe. We ducked in for "un cafe au lait et un croissant, s'il-vous plait" and felt very French :-)

Lovely hotel in Vieux Quebec

Groovy streets in Vieux Quebec

And now to Vieux Montreal (we struck a particularly wet streak in both cities, nothing a good umbrella and a change of clothes couldn't fix though!)

Notre Dame de la Basilica, Montreal

Ben and some highly anticipated and very delicious Montreal meat!
