Ontario
We were lucky enough to be in Ontario, and specifically Ottawa, for July 1 - Canada Day! We spent two great nights with a friend of mine from Rogers in the Ottawa office and her family, and it was so lovely to stay with friends IN A REAL HOME and not the tent or a cheap motel! Not that there is anything wrong with our beloved Blue Bullet or our cosy tent, but there is definitely something to be said for a home :-)Canada Day was a lot of fun in Ottawa, the capital really knows how to turn on a good show. Red and white were definitely the colours of the day (not yellow, Fiona....I just pretended that I've become colour-blind since becoming pregnant!), and there was such a fun vibe in the city.We swung by Toronto for an all-too-brief Rogers friend catch-up and then headed down to Niagara Falls. Photos don't do it justice, this is an amazing place and worthy of the 13 million visitors it gets each year!

I'm so glad that you got to experience Canada Day in Ottawa. It truly is the best Canada Day celebration in the the country!!!
